MT 3.1 performance improvements

Whoa. That last post published in about 1/10th the time it took to publish old posts. And that’s not even with the dynamic publishing abilities. Nice.

    Movable Type 3.1 Available

Looks like you are on MT 3.1 now. Any problems with the install on your existing system. Some developers I have a lot of respect were having some problems. Also heard that some of the plugins people were using were not working on upgrades to 3.1 - saw you had problem with Amazon plugin.

When I checked MT devloper boards last week there was a flurry of activity relating to problems folks were having - have not checked back there yet though.

Upgrade went smoothly - didn't take any longer than any prior upgrades did. However, the MTAmazon plugin isn't working for me at all. I also haven't started trying to tackle the dynamic publishing (I do some non-standard tweaks with file naming in the blog, and I think that those approaches don't work smoothly with 3.1 yet).

Will continue to update as I make headway.
