We’re going to Prague in a couple weeks, and just decided we’d drive from Frankfurt instead of flying. This is a great overview of the process.

Hi, I am about to make a trip including Frankfurt and Prague, and I was wondering if you did in fact make that drive, and if so how it was? The link that you provide is no longer active. Thanks!
Shelley – Sorry for the late reply, your comment got queued for approval and I missed the notification.
We did make the drive, and it was 4-5 hours. Had there not been construction on the German side of the border, it would have gone even quicker. But it was an easy drive, and we really enjoyed seeing a bit of the countryside. Good luck (if you haven’t already gone!)
Be aware that in the Czech Republic, some of the best places lie on streets containing no vowels.
